Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The OpportunityWe are seeking a collaborative and proactive Pouhere Rangahau | Research Theme Manager to join Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga (NPM) – Aotearoa New Zealand’s Māori Centre of Research Excellence. This is a full-time role, based in a uniquely kaupapa Māori environment at Waipapa Marae, within the Faculty of Arts and Education.NPM is the only Māori Centre of Research Excellence, and we are proud of our distinctive, impactful research that supports flourishing Māori futures. In this role, you’ll connect our researchers across the country and the world, fostering collaboration across public research organisations, universities, and Indigenous communities. You’ll help advance our kaupapa by identifying new research, funding, and investment opportunities, supporting the next generation of Māori researchers, and building capacity within our networks.This is a rewarding role that enables you to apply your skills in project and contract management, whanaungatanga, and relationship-building to elevate Indigenous research and contribute to long-term positive change.
This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week), fixed term opportunity (approx 30 months).The remuneration range is $88,000 - $95,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience. For more information about this role, please refer to the Position Description.
